Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP RAP UI5 Developer for a remote position. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model). You will be responsible for building end-to-end OData V4 services and integrating them with UI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP.
  • Implement RAP behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing.
  • Build end-to-end OData V4 services using RAP and integrate with UI frameworks such as Fiori Elements and UI5.
  • Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem.
  • Integrate SAP BTP applications with S4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services.
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP clean core and cloud-ready coding practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps teams to design secure and scalable solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in SAP RAP (managed and unmanaged scenarios), CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviors, Metadata Extensions.
  • Experience with OData V4 services and Fiori Elements consumption.
  • Experience integrating BTP applications with S4HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IAS/IPS.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, multi-tenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP.
  • Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git.
  • Must-haves: SAP BTP, ABAP, RAP, UI5, FIORI, Digital: SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year
