Role Overview: Senior SAP EWM Integration Specialist
Scalable Systems is seeking a highly experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant for a critical 6-month onsite engagement in Raritan, New Jersey. This role is designed for a technical leader with over 10 years of experience in systems integration and enterprise architecture, specifically focusing on the seamless connectivity between SAP EWM and broader enterprise ecosystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex data integration initiatives that ensure disparate systems work in harmony to support end-to-end business processes.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with the organization’s enterprise architecture and long-term business objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of API frameworks using REST and SOAP protocols to facilitate robust communication between SAP EWM and external platforms.
- Manage integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, and Azure Integration Services to ensure scalable and secure data flows.
- Conduct deep-dive root-cause analysis to troubleshoot complex integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime for warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with SAP EWM functional consultants, BASIS teams, and ABAP developers to define technical specifications and project scopes.
- Establish and enforce integration standards, documentation practices, and governance processes to maintain high-quality delivery.
- Ensure all integrations are compliant with organizational security standards and data governance audit requirements.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and lifecycle changes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Required Technical Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in application development, systems integration, or enterprise architecture.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP Process Integration (PI) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Strong proficiency in messaging queues and data integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in hybrid integration models.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency.
Soft Skills and Managerial Competencies
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative approach to team-based problem solving.
- Experience in defining and managing project lifecycles from inception through hypercare.
Special Requirements
Visa constraints: H1B, USC, GC or H4-EAD. Onsite requirement in Raritan, NJ.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
