Position Summary: SAP EWM HANA Expert
Shrive Technologies LLC is looking for a seasoned SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with specialized expertise in S/4HANA and a deep background in the Manufacturing and Semiconductor industries. This long-term onsite position in Santa Clara, California, requires a consultant who can navigate the unique complexities of high-tech manufacturing environments, including cleanroom logistics and serialized component tracking. You will be instrumental in driving digital transformation by translating operational needs into scalable, high-performance EWM solutions.
Core Responsibilities and Solution Design
- Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP EWM within S/4HANA environments (version 1809 or later).
- Architect warehouse processes for inbound and outbound logistics, internal movements, and production supply specifically for semiconductor fabs.
- Configure advanced EWM features including RF framework, wave management, labor management, and slotting/rearrangement.
- Integrate EWM seamlessly with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Transportation Management (TM).
- Design specialized material handling flows for cleanroom environments, Kanban staging, and tooling management.
- Manage serialized component tracking and lot genealogy to meet the rigorous traceability requirements of the semiconductor industry.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop enhancements, BAPIs, and IDocs while optimizing HANA-based performance.
- Lead workshops and fit-gap sessions with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Technical Qualifications and Industry Expertise
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM (embedded or decentralized).
- Proven track record in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing sectors, understanding yield and supply chain constraints.
- Strong technical knowledge of S/4HANA data models, Fiori applications, and embedded analytics.
- Experience with automation systems such as AGVs, robotics, and conveyors is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration, such as Camstar or Applied Materials, is a significant plus.
- Ability to author detailed functional specifications and guide offshore development teams.
Project Leadership and Delivery
- Develop comprehensive test scripts and lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
- Oversee data migration activities for warehouse structures and inventory master data.
- Drive cutover planning and provide post-go-live hypercare support to ensure system stabilization.
- Maintain excellent stakeholder management and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
