Role Overview
Altitude Technology Solutions Inc is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Fiori Consultant to join our client’s team in Milpitas, CA. This is a critical role requiring strong expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 development within modern SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, specifically focusing on frontend innovation and backend integration. As we move into 2026, the demand for seamless, intuitive user experiences in enterprise software has never been higher, and this role is at the forefront of that transformation.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Depth
- SAP Fiori & UI5 Development: Design, develop, and enhance sophisticated SAP Fiori applications using the SAPUI5 framework. This includes building custom Fiori apps from scratch (Freestyle) as well as leveraging Fiori Elements for standardized, high-efficiency deployments.
- S/4HANA Integration & Clean Core: Work extensively with SAP S/4HANA backend systems. A primary focus will be on extending standard Fiori apps using both in-app and side-by-side extensibility patterns, ensuring all developments adhere to SAP’s ‘Clean Core’ principles to facilitate easier future upgrades.
- OData & SAP Gateway: Demonstrate mastery in OData services integration using SAP Gateway. This involves implementing complex CRUD operations, deep entity handling, and managing service registration and activation. You will collaborate closely with ABAP teams to expose business logic via RAP-based services.
- Frontend Excellence: Utilize modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) to implement MVC architecture within SAPUI5. You will be responsible for applying UX best practices and SAP Fiori Design Guidelines to ensure cross-device compatibility and high performance.
- Architecture & Performance: Manage the SAP NetWeaver and Gateway components, including roles, catalogs, and groups in the Fiori Launchpad. You will conduct rigorous performance tuning and code optimization to ensure applications meet enterprise-grade speed and reliability standards.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior consultants. You will participate in solution design discussions, architecture reviews, and collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Professional Environment
This position requires a hybrid work model with 2 days per week onsite in Milpitas, CA. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate immediately. You will be part of a dynamic team handling system landscape integration across DEV, QA, and PROD environments, utilizing advanced transport management and version control systems. Your contribution will be vital in project planning, estimation, and ensuring security compliance through XSRF tokens, authentication, and authorization protocols. This is a long-term contract opportunity designed for a professional who thrives in high-volume, high-impact environments.

Need Local at Milpitas, California. 2 days per week onsite.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
