Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC Consultant with a strong background in SAP Security to support global enterprise environments. This role requires deep expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms, including ABAP, FIORI, BTP applications, and key modules such as FI, OTC, EWM, and MFG. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control 12.0, specifically ARM, ARA, BRM, and EAM. Prior experience with global S/4HANA implementations, focusing on security architecture, compliance alignment, and cutover readiness, is essential. The role also involves SAP S4HANA or SAP ECC Security, SAP GRC HANA DB, and Role Management. A strong working knowledge of SAP HANA database security and experience in SAP Masking and Data Protection Configuration are required. The consultant will be responsible for maintaining access, roles, and users to control application rights within SAP ABAP, HANA DB & SAC; Cloud Applications. This position requires the ability to operate independently and partner with various support teams globally, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and business workstreams.
- 10 years strong experience in SAP Security supporting global enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms including ABAP, FIORI, BTP applications and key modules FI, OTC, EWM and MFG.
- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control 12.0- ARM, ARA, BRM & EAM.
- Prior exp with global S/4HANA implementations focus on security architecture, compliance alignment and cutover readiness.
- SAP S4HANA or SAP ECC Security, SAP GRC HANA DB and Role Management.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP HANA database security.

- SAP S/4 HANA, BW, BW4HANA, HANA and SAC Experience is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across the different levels in the organization.
- Pharma or Manufacturing experience is highly desired.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The SAP GRC Consultant will be responsible for the overall security and compliance within SAP environments. This includes managing access controls, roles, and user permissions to ensure adherence to security policies and industry best practices. The role involves close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to implement and maintain robust security solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing SAP GRC solutions to meet business requirements.
- Managing SAP security roles and authorizations.
- Conducting security assessments and audits.
- Providing technical expertise on SAP security and GRC matters.
- Troubleshooting and resolving security-related issues.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on security initiatives.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest SAP security trends and technologies.
Special Requirements
Onsite 3-4 days every week. Local to Chicago, IL.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
