Position Summary
EminentLeap LLC is seeking an expert SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Consultant for a critical 6-month onsite engagement in Bellevue, WA. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who possesses deep technical and functional expertise in Time Series Based Planning (TSBP) and Order Based Planning (OBP). As a lead consultant, you will be responsible for optimizing supply and demand balancing through sophisticated S&OP processes, ensuring that our client’s supply chain operations are resilient, efficient, and fully integrated with their broader SAP ecosystem.
Technical Scope and Responsibilities
- Time-Series Based Planning (TSBP): You will lead the configuration of planning areas, key figures, planning levels, and time profiles. Your expertise will be required to define and manage master data types and attributes essential for accurate time-series forecasting. You will implement advanced statistical forecasting models and collaborate closely with business units to fine-tune these models based on lifecycle planning and market trends.
- Order-Based Planning (OBP): Design and implement OBP architecture that integrates seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA or ECC. This includes configuring real-time integration using SDI or CPI-DS. You will be responsible for implementing heuristic-based planning for short-term execution, defining pegging strategies, and setting up ATP (Available-to-Promise) categories to ensure high service levels.
- Supply and Demand Balancing: Facilitate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to achieve consensus between demand and supply. You will configure supply planning algorithms using time-series heuristics and optimize plans using cost-based optimization models, taking into account production constraints, lead times, and sourcing rules.
- Integration and Performance: Manage complex integrations using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS). You will monitor planning run performance, optimize planning views, and fine-tune optimizer parameters to ensure system accuracy and speed.
- Strategic Simulation: Support the business with scenario planning and ‘what-if’ simulations to evaluate the impact of potential supply chain disruptions or strategic shifts.
Required Technical Skills
- Extensive experience in SAP IBP modules, specifically TSBP and OBP.
- Hands-on experience with CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services) or SDI for real-time data integration.
- Deep understanding of S&OP processes and supply chain optimization algorithms.
- Ability to configure deployment rules, fair-share logic, and transportation lanes.
- Proficiency in analyzing optimizer logs and fine-tuning cost functions and penalties.
Professional Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP IBP implementations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex supply chain planning issues.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in Bellevue, WA for the duration of the contract.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
