Role Overview: SAP IBP Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP IBP Developer to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara, CA. This role is critical for driving digital transformation within our supply chain planning ecosystem. As a senior-level consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing advanced SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions that align with complex business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain planning processes and have a proven track record of successful SAP IBP implementations.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Depth
- Lead the functional configuration and design of SAP IBP modules, with a specific focus on SAP IBP Response & Supply and SAP IBP Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Architect and implement integration strategies between SAP IBP and S4/HANA, as well as third-party legacy systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process synchronization.
- Utilize advanced planning tools including SAP Optimizer and Heuristic-based planning to solve complex supply chain challenges and optimize inventory levels.
- Manage end-to-end data integration using CPIDS, SDI, and RTI methods, ensuring high data quality and interface reliability.
- Participate in all project phases, from initial design and blueprinting to development, rigorous testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver high-impact supply chain solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant SAP consulting experience specifically focused on Supply Chain Planning. Total professional experience should range between 8 to 10 years, demonstrating a progression of responsibility and technical mastery. You must have participated in at least one full-lifecycle SAP IBP implementation. Deep knowledge of business processes in the supply chain domain is essential, along with the ability to navigate the complexities of S4/HANA environments. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in the heart of Silicon Valley are required.
