Job Description: SAP IS Retail Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS Retail Consultant to join our team. This role involves analyzing retail business processes, configuring SAP IS Retail modules, and providing support for SAP systems. The position is based onsite in Marlboro, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze retail business processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Configure SAP IS Retail modules, including Merchandise Management (MM), Pricing & Promotions, and Assortment Planning.
  • Work closely with integration points across various SAP systems, such as SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
  • Support the integration of Point of Sale (POS) systems with SAP.
  • Manage master data, including articles, sites, and assortments, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform comprehensive testing activities, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure system functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Provide essential production support, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with business users to gather detailed requirements and deliver appropriate SAP solutions that meet business needs.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with SAP IS Retail processes.
  • Proven experience in managing and configuring:
    • Article Master Data
    • Listing and Assortments
    • Pricing procedures
    • Retail procurement processes
  • Solid integration knowledge with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
  • Basic ABAP debugging knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

  • Employment Type: W2.
  • The role requires a consultant with a strong understanding of retail business operations and SAP IS Retail functionalities.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $65 – $75 per year (Estimated)
