Job Description: SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise across the meter-to-cash lifecycle within the utility industry, specifically for Electricity & Gas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in configuring and customizing SAP IS-U billing master data, including billing schemas, rate modeling, and complex billing scenarios.
- Proficiency in setting up regulated and de-regulated tariff models.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end billing and invoicing process, covering budget billing, RTP billing, TOU billing, mass batch jobs, exception management, bill simulation, unbilled revenue scenarios, and collective billing.
- Working knowledge of SAP IS-U Bill Print, including Print Workbench configuration and integration with Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including integration with Device Management and FICA.
- Extensive functional and solution experience, with the ability to facilitate, design, and develop complex solutions aligned with digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong client-facing skills, acting as a functional liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department.
- Ability to guide stakeholders on best practices for SAP IS-U implementation and utilization.
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA utilities and Fiori is a plus.
- Ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot OData and web services used in integrations.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing.
- Deep functional expertise in the utility industry (Electricity & Gas).
- Proven experience with SAP IS-U configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of the meter-to-cash process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
