Position Summary
Valzo Soft Solutions is looking for an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant for a high-impact contract opportunity in Boston, MA. This onsite role requires a technical expert who can design, configure, and optimize SAP MM modules to streamline supply chain operations. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational goals, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes. This position is specifically open to H1-B visa holders.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end system configuration for SAP MM modules, including Material Master, Purchasing, and Valuation.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle, overseeing purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and contract management.
- Maintain and optimize vendor master data to ensure accurate reporting and relationship management.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including goods receipts, goods issues, and physical inventory reconciliation.
- Execute logistics invoice verification and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
- Integrate the MM module with other SAP components such as FI/CO (Finance & Controlling), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
- Provide comprehensive post-go-live support and troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP MM configuration and design.
- Deep understanding of procurement and warehouse management processes within the SAP ecosystem.
- Ability to create detailed functional specifications and supporting technical documentation.
- Proficiency in conducting unit testing and integration testing to ensure system stability.
- Strong knowledge of integration points between MM and other SAP modules.
Support & Training
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure high system adoption and proficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
- Maintain change logs and issue logs to track system modifications and resolutions.
This role is essential for ensuring that materials are procured, managed, and stored efficiently within the supply chain, directly impacting the organization’s operational success.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
