Job Overview:
Aroha Technologies, a leading IT Development & IT Staffing firm with over a decade of experience, is seeking a skilled SAP PI/PO and ABAP Developer for a long-term remote engagement. This role is integral to our client’s Integration team, focusing on developing and supporting integrations for critical business modules including Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, configure, and support SAP PI/PO interfaces for SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and connected systems.
- Develop end-to-end integrations for both SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Create interfaces using ABAP proxies, IDOCs, and oData.
- Manage interface configuration, message mapping, routing, communication channels, and monitoring within SAP PI/PO.
- Enhance standard enterprise services to meet business needs.
- Collaborate closely with Functional and Business teams to understand integration requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
- Participate actively in code review sessions with other team members to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Prepare detailed interface design documents and technical specifications.
- Leverage ABAP and PI/PO solutions for integrations using the specified technologies.
Required Skill Set:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in developing integrations using SAP PI/PO and S/4HANA.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Experience in IDOC development and enhancements (User-Exits, BADIs).
- Well-versed with Functionality Enhancement Framework (FEH).
- Strong skills in performance tuning and code review.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO versions 7.4 and 7.5.
- Demonstrated experience with common SAP PI/PO adapters, including SFTP, JDBC, JMS, REST, SOAP, oDATA, and IDOC.
- Thorough understanding of SAP PI architecture.
- Experience in developing integrations for Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, and Finance modules is highly desirable.
