Job Title: SAP PP/DS Solution Consultant

Quantum World IT is seeking a highly skilled SAP PP/DS Solution Consultant with strong hands-on experience. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level consulting on SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) within SAP S/4HANA Advanced Planning.
  • Focus on detailed capacity planning, scheduling, heuristics, and optimizing production orders.
  • Candidates must have genuine PP/DS experience, preferably with the DSC Edition, but embedded PP/DS experience is also acceptable.
  • Utilize keywords such as ‘SAP PP/DS Consultant’ and ‘PP/DS Solution Architect’ in resumes.
  • Apply skills in SAP ERP Production Planning & Control.
  • Leverage 10-15 years of relevant experience in SAP PP/DS.
  • Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience is preferred.
  • In-depth experience with interactive production planning, detailed scheduling, pegging, production planning table, planning board, constraint-based planning, model mix planning, multilevel scheduling, and sequencing is required.
  • Experience implementing SAP ePP/DS solutions in Automotive or discrete manufacturing industries is required.
  • Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired.
  • Experience in Cross-Location Planning, Automated Responses to changes in planning situation, Multi-Level Constraint based Production Plan, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, Time Dependent Safety Stock is required.
  • Experience in Automotive manufacturing or Repetitive manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional social skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP PP/DS.
  • Experience with at least one full SAP PP/DS implementation.
  • Experience with PPDS Setup Optimizer implementation.
  • Experience with PPDS BAdi enhancement.
  • APO ABAP experience is a plus.
  • No support-only profiles; hands-on experience is mandatory.
  • 10-15 years of Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience preferred.
  • In-depth experience in SAP Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities.
  • Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP ePP/DS) in an Automotive or discrete manufacturing industry.
