Role Overview
We are looking for an exceptional SAP PP Lead with specialized expertise in the Process Industry to drive large-scale digital transformation projects. This role involves leading the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions, ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and scalability. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) modules in S/4HANA environments.
- Facilitate business process workshops to gather requirements, identify pain points, and define future-state manufacturing processes.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications for custom enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms (RICEFW).
- Configure Master Data elements specific to process manufacturing, including Material Master, Resources, Master Recipes, and Production Versions.
- Implement and optimize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Demand Management strategies to align production with market needs.
- Manage complex Process Order execution, including phase-based scheduling, material staging, and process messages.
- Design and implement Capacity Planning and Shop Floor Control solutions to maximize resource utilization and throughput.
- Integrate SAP PP with other modules such as Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including Blueprinting, Realization, Final Preparation, and Hypercare support.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on manufacturing best practices and SAP roadmap alignment.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP PP, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Architect role.
- Deep functional knowledge of the Process Industry, including Batch Management, Active Ingredient Management, and Co-products/By-products.
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
- Strong understanding of integration points with SAP QM (Quality Management) for in-process inspections and batch release.
- Experience with SAP MII or ME integration is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in using SAP Solution Manager for project documentation and transport management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex configuration issues.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing global delivery teams and offshore resources.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year
