Position Summary: SAP PP-PI & QM Consultant
KK Software Associates is seeking a Senior SAP Consultant specializing in Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) and Quality Management (QM) for a long-term engagement in Raritan, NJ. This role is pivotal for a major implementation and support project within a complex manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring over 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments, specifically focusing on the integration of production processes with quality control standards. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP modules, from initial requirement gathering through to post-go-live support and optimization.
Core Responsibilities and Technical Duties
- Implementation & Support: Facilitate the full-scale implementation and ongoing support of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules.
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of complex business process requirements. Provide appropriate system solutions by identifying, interpreting, and validating customer needs.
- Workshop Facilitation: Lead and facilitate business requirement workshops with key stakeholders to define project scope and functional objectives.
- System Mapping & Configuration: Map client business requirements and processes to SAP standard functionalities. Develop necessary product modifications and custom configurations to satisfy unique business needs.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Design, customize, configure, and perform rigorous testing of SAP modules. Identify gaps, issues, and develop effective workaround solutions.
- Technical Liaison: Act as a primary liaison between business functions and the technical development team. Investigate, analyze, and solve software problems through effective troubleshooting.
- Change Management: Handle emergency transports and system changes for high-priority issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive functional designs, test cases, and results documentation.
- Process Enhancement: Proactively identify and propose system enhancements to improve business efficiency and system performance.
- Mentorship: Work independently and act as a subject matter mentor to junior team members, providing ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Required Skills and Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP PP and QM, with a specific focus on Process Industries (PP-PI). Essential technical skills include proficiency in SAP S/4HANA PP/QM modules. The role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, quality inspection lots, and production scheduling within a regulated industry context. Excellent communication skills are required to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users. This position is open to candidates with USC, H1B, H4-EAD, TN, L2, and OPT status. The duration is 6 months with a high likelihood of extension based on performance and project needs.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
