Role Overview: SAP Program Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SAP Program Manager to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a professional who can navigate the complexities of modern SAP environments, specifically focusing on S4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations. As the SAP Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overarching success of technical implementations, ensuring that business requirements are seamlessly translated into scalable, high-performance technical solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth and project management excellence to drive digital transformation in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact
- Convert complex business requirements into detailed technical designs and implement them in strict alignment with existing architectural standards.
- Support functional stakeholders by implementing innovative solutions within SAP S4HANA and SAP BTP using compliant, industry-standard methodologies.
- Oversee the development of scalable interfaces, collaborating closely with internal and external technical teams to ensure system interoperability.
- Establish and manage comprehensive test options for technical solutions, leveraging SAP’s proprietary test methodologies and automation tools.
- Maintain and review technical documentation to provide clear guidance for both internal developers and external end-users.
- Lead the development of front-end applications by applying SAP best practices and local booking guidelines.
- Manage the full lifecycle of system changes, including bug fixes and the introduction of new functionalities based on evolving business needs.
- Optimize and redesign legacy functions to improve overall business processes, utilizing the latest SAP best practices and emerging technologies.
Technical Requirements and Expertise
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a management or lead capacity within the SAP ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to explain and implement the architecture of SAP S4HANA and SAP BTP integration.
- Proven expertise in building extensions on SAP S4HANA using SAP BTP services.
- Advanced proficiency in SAPUI5, Fiori, and JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js for front-end development.
- Deep technical knowledge of back-end technologies including CAPM, CDS, Node.js, and HANA XSA.
- Experience managing databases within the SAP ecosystem, specifically SAP HANA or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps tools such as abapGit, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and SAP technologies like CTS and gCTS.
- A proactive interest in Low Code/No Code platforms such as SAP Build and Build Code.

Candidates must be prepared for a rigorous screening process, including specific weekend interview slots and a Terefic background check. Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
