Job Description: SAP Retail Functional Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP Retail Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of relevant experience and strong expertise in SAP IS Retail. This role involves analyzing retail business processes, configuring SAP IS Retail modules, and supporting integrations across various SAP modules. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement effective SAP-based functional solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Analyze retail business processes and convert them into SAP-based functional solutions.
- Configure and support SAP IS Retail modules, including:
- Merchandise Management (MM)
- Pricing & Promotions
- Assortment Planning
- Manage integration across SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
- Support POS system integrations.
- Handle master data management for:
- Articles
- Sites
- Assortments
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and UAT support.
- Provide production support and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders / end users for requirement gathering and solution design.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong functional expertise in SAP IS Retail.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Article Master Data
- Listing & Assortments
- Pricing Procedures
- Retail Procurement
- Strong integration knowledge with:
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- FICO touchpoints
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (preferred).
Functional Domain Expertise:
- Strong understanding of retail business operations.
- Experience in:
- Store operations
- Inventory management
- Supply chain processes
- Retail merchandising workflows
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, located in Marlborough, MA.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
