Job Title: SAP Security and GRC Consultant
We are looking for a skilled SAP Security and GRC Consultant to join our remote team. This role focuses on ensuring the security and compliance of SAP systems through expert management of authorizations and GRC processes.
Role Overview:
The SAP Security and GRC Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security roles and GRC solutions. This includes managing access controls, performing risk analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert understanding of SAP Authorization Model, including roles, profiles, and the PFCG environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Log Sources such as the Security Audit Log (SAL), HANA Audit logs, Read Access Logging (RAL), and Table Logging.
- Familiarity with security differences between legacy SAP and modern S/4HANA landscapes.
- Understanding of GRC concepts, including Access Risk Analysis (ARA) and Emergency Access Management (EAM/Firefighter) to distinguish between authorized and unauthorized “high-risk” actions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell to automate log simulation or test case execution.
- Experience using testing frameworks or “Mock Data” generators to validate SIEM logic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement security policies and procedures.
- Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP security trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SAP Security and GRC Consultant.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts and GRC tools.
- Experience with Enterprise Threat Detection and GRC Detection Analysis with SECOPS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
This is a 12+ month contract position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
