Job Summary
We are urgently seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) Functional Consultant for a contract role. The consultant will be responsible for managing end-to-end Change & Release Management processes within the SAP landscape. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ChaRM functionalities and best practices for managing normal, urgent, defect, and administrative changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire Change & Release Management lifecycle using SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM).
- Configure and maintain ChaRM functionalities to support various change types (Normal, Urgent, Defect, Admin).
- Ensure efficient and compliant Transport Management and Retrofit processes.
- Implement and enforce SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and Audit Compliance requirements within the change management framework.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and offshore teams.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and testing of changes.
- Provide functional expertise and support for SAP ChaRM related issues.
- Document processes, configurations, and user guides.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP functional consulting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) configuration and implementation.
- Proven expertise in managing Change & Release Management processes (Normal, Urgent, Defect, Admin Changes).
- Strong knowledge of Transport Management and Retrofit functionalities.
- Solid understanding of SOX and Audit Compliance requirements in relation to change management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and offshore coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Incident Management and Problem Management integration within SAP Solution Manager.
- Prior experience with SAP Basis or SAP QA processes.
- Familiarity with other SAP modules.
Work Environment
This is a contract position based in Houston, TX, requiring 5 days onsite. The role is with LTI Mindtree, a leading global technology consulting and digital solutions company.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
