Job Summary:

PropelSys Technologies LLC is urgently seeking an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Enterprise Architecture and Data Platforms. This role is critical for leading large-scale, complex projects within a multiple service integrator (SI) environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing highly technical teams, driving project success, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. This is a remote hybrid position offering both C2C and W2 employment options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale, complex SAP projects, focusing on Enterprise Architecture and Data Platforms.
  • Drive projects within a multiple service integrator (SI) environment, ensuring successful collaboration and delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and manage resource, cost, and budget planning/estimation.
  • Oversee fiscal management, budget tracking, and reporting for all project phases.
  • Facilitate working sessions and steering committee meetings, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project challenges.
  • Manage highly technical personnel and business systems analysts assigned to projects.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships through demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Create a motivating environment for team members and demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach to managing change.
  • Utilize excellent judgment and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
  • Apply strong influencing and negotiation skills to achieve project objectives.
  • Leverage sound business and technical acumen, including expertise in artificial intelligence, SAP, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and automations.
  • Manage Workday projects, including initial system implementations, module rollouts, and integration development.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, including presenting to all levels of management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on SAP.
  • Proven experience in driving large projects and programs in a multiple service integrator (SI) environment.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed project plans using Microsoft Project.
  • Extensive experience in resource, cost, and budget planning/estimation.
  • Strong fiscal management, budget tracking, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience facilitating working sessions and steering committee meetings.
  • Demonstrated success in creating risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience managing highly technical personnel and business systems analysts.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience building partnerships.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success in creating a motivating team environment and managing change proactively.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Sound business and technical acumen (artificial intelligence, SAP, M&A, automations).
  • Experience managing Workday projects is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly preferred.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Advanced Scrum Master Certification is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
