Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices, ensure smooth delivery of projects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant leader to Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum best practices and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions
- Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, sprint progress)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Regulatory, and Business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GxP, FDA guidelines) where applicable
- Support release planning and deployment activities
- Drive Agile transformation and coach team members on Agile principles
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a Scrum Master
- Strong experience in Pharma / Life Sciences domain
- In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe is a plus)
- Experience working in regulated environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps
- Ability to handle multiple teams/projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or SAFe certification
- Experience in clinical trials, drug development, pharmacovigilance, or regulatory systems
- Exposure to data analytics or digital transformation initiatives in Pharma
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in API integrations, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of validation processes (CSV)
- Prior experience working with global teams

- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $55 – $55 per year
