Job Description: SDET / QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SDET / QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation skills and the ability to take full ownership of testing responsibilities, working effectively within cross-functional teams. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the entire testing lifecycle, from test planning and design to execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end testing responsibilities, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Leverage hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for testing and deployment.
  • Ensure smooth integration and deployment processes by having a good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work effectively with both onshore and offshore teams, fostering strong collaboration and communication.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an SDET or QA Engineer with a strong focus on automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • This is an onsite position located in Alpharetta, GA.
  • The role is for a contract position.
  • Candidates local to Alpharetta, GA are preferred.
