About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with expertise in Selenium, Python, Robot Framework, and JMeter to join our team in Bloomington, IL. This is a hybrid role requiring 7-12 years of experience. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our automation strategies, frameworks, and execution reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Strategy Planning: Define and implement automation strategies using Robot Framework. Identify test cases suitable for automation and prioritize based on ROI.
  • Framework Development: Design and maintain scalable, reusable Robot Framework test suites. Integrate libraries such as Selenium API and Database for end-to-end automation.
  • Execution & Reporting: Execute automated test scripts and analyze results. Generate detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders. Prepare detailed automation reports and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.

Primary Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Robot Framework keywords, libraries, and custom keywords.
  • Proficiency in Python for custom keyword development.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, preferably using JMeter, and database validation.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Hybrid, Data-Driven, and Page Object Model.

Secondary Skills:

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Azure).

Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience in Software Development in Test (SDET) roles.
  • Proven experience with Selenium for UI automation.
  • Extensive experience with Robot Framework.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with performance and API testing tools like JMeter.
  • Solid understanding of test automation principles and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Illinois Locals Only. 2nd Round Onsite interview must.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
