Job Title: SDET Test Engineer (Java/Python/XCUI)
KAnand Corporation is urgently seeking a local SDET Test Engineer for a contract role in the Bay Area, CA. This position requires 2-3 days onsite per week.
Role Overview:
The role focuses on End-to-End (E2E) testing, combining strong coding, automation, and system-level debugging skills in a complex, integrated environment. The ideal candidate will validate complete workflows across devices, backend services, and data pipelines, with the ability to analyze logs, debug complex issues, and work across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform E2E testing using Java, Python, and XCUI.
- Validate workflows across devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Analyze logs and debug complex issues across distributed systems.
- Work with internal test frameworks and automation infrastructure.
- Conduct system-level validation and integration testing.
- Independently triage and troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming and automation experience with Python and Java.
- Hands-on experience with device automation frameworks, including XCUI.
- Ability to analyze logs and debug issues across distributed systems.
- Understanding of backend services and system integrations.
- Experience validating workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Good understanding of database connectivity and data access, connecting to data sources and SQL.
- Familiarity with containerization, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and data pipeline technologies (Kafka, Spark).
- Familiarity with E2E testing methodologies and system level validation.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to independently triage issues.
