Role Overview: Sectigo Engineer (L3)
Nitya Software Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sectigo Engineer to join our security operations team in a remote capacity. This is a critical Level 3 (L3) role focused on enterprise-scale Certificate Management (CM) and Identity and Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Sectigo products and a proven track record of managing complex certificate lifecycles in high-availability environments. As a senior member of the security team, you will be responsible for the architectural integrity of our certificate infrastructure, ensuring that all digital assets are protected by valid, compliant, and securely managed certificates. This role demands a proactive approach to security, where you anticipate potential vulnerabilities and implement robust solutions before they can be exploited.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise certificate management solutions using Sectigo Certificate Manager.
- Provide L3-level technical support for certificate-related incidents, troubleshooting complex issues across diverse platforms including web servers, load balancers, and cloud services.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and auditing, ensuring zero downtime due to certificate expiration.
- Integrate Sectigo with various enterprise systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure seamless security coverage.
- Collaborate with the PAM (Privileged Access Management) team, specifically leveraging CyberArk for operational tasks and troubleshooting during periods of CM underutilization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for certificate management processes, security standards, and disaster recovery plans.
- Participate in Business As Usual (BAU) activities and respond to security incidents with urgency and precision, acting as a subject expert during investigations.
- Optimize certificate management workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and mitigate the risk of human error.
- Conduct regular audits of the certificate inventory to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Sectigo Certificate Manager or similar enterprise-grade CM tools in a large-scale environment.
- Strong operational knowledge of CyberArk PAM, including vault management, account discovery, and session monitoring.
- Proven background in supporting enterprise-scale IAM and security operations for Fortune 500 companies or similar organizations.
- Deep understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) principles, SSL/TLS protocols, and cryptographic standards (RSA, ECC, AES).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, incident-driven environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate certificate deployment and monitoring.
- Familiarity with hardware security modules (HSMs) and their integration with certificate management systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
