Job Role: Security Architect
Scalable Systems Inc. is seeking a Security Architect for one of its clients. This is an onsite contract position requiring 10+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Architecture, or IT Security Assessments.
- Strong experience conducting security architecture reviews and risk assessments across applications and infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of application security principles including authentication, authorization, session management, and input validation.
- Strong knowledge of network security architecture, protocols, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security architecture and security controls for modern cloud environments.
- Experience reviewing technical designs, architecture diagrams, and system documentation for security implications.
- Strong understanding of secure data storage, encryption, and secure data transmission practices.
- Experience identifying security vulnerabilities and recommending remediation strategies aligned with industry standards.
- Experience working with secure development practices and modern SDLC processes.
- Knowledge of penetration testing results analysis and application vulnerability remediation.
- Ability to perform security risk analysis and prioritize findings based on business impact.
- Experience participating in technology risk governance and operational risk forums.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns across applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
- Experience supporting deployment automation and modern DevOps / DevSecOps platforms.
- Strong collaboration experience with global technology teams, stakeholders, and business units.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
