Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AEM Developer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java, and object-oriented design. This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies, database development, and Agile methodologies. Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows.
- Implement Java-based solutions for AEM integrations and customizations.
- Work with relational databases (SQL, Sybase) for data management.
- Utilize web technologies such as JS, CSS, HTML5, Angular/React for front-end development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Primary Skills: AEM 6.4 or above, Java 8 or above, Gradle, REST, SOAP, Spring Boot, JDBC.
- Database: Sybase or SQL Server, PL/SQL.
- Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular/React, NPM, AJAX.
- Tools: Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience as an AEM developer. Expert-level experience in AEM, Java (8 or above), and object-oriented design and development. Hands-on experience with relational databases and development (SQL, Sybase). Working knowledge in web technologies (JS, CSS, HTML5, Angular/React), web infrastructure, caching, compression, and security. Working knowledge of Unix bash scripting and/or Python. Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum). Good with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline.
- Preferred Skills: Working experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service. Scripting: Unix/Bash or Python. Agile methodology (preferably Scrum). DevOps and CI/CD pipeline.
Additional Information:
This is a long-term contract position requiring the candidate to be onsite in New York, NY. The client is TCS. Candidates must be local and confirmed to go onsite for client evaluation. Financial Services industry experience is considered an advantage.
Special Requirements
Onsite, LOCAL ONLY WHO ARE CONFIRMED TO GO ONSITE FOR CLIENT EVAL, Financial Services industry experience is an advantage.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $65 – $85 per year
