Role Overview
GAC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. As we move into 2026, the landscape of artificial intelligence is shifting from simple predictive models to complex, agentic workflows and sophisticated conversational interfaces. This role is designed for a technical leader who can architect and develop AI-driven Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and conversational systems using Python. You will be at the forefront of building NLP models for text classification and clustering to support intent detection and call routing, ensuring that customer interactions are seamless and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop AI-driven IVR and conversational systems using Python, focusing on scalability and real-time performance.
- Build and refine NLP models for text classification and clustering to support advanced intent detection and intelligent call routing.
- Perform deep data analysis using SQL on large-scale IVR and interaction datasets to identify patterns and optimize system performance.
- Design and deploy Large Language Model (LLM) workflows, including expert-level prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and comprehensive evaluation frameworks.
- Lead the development of agentic AI workflows for multi-step customer interactions, moving beyond simple chatbots to autonomous agents.
- Establish and maintain LLMOps best practices, including continuous monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management of production models.
- Partner closely with IVR platform teams, speech engineering, and product management to align AI capabilities with business goals.
- Mentor offshore and junior AI engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI and Machine Learning, with a proven track record of deploying models to production.
- Very strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost).
- Proven expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), specifically in text classification and clustering.
- Strong experience in data analysis using SQL (Oracle, MySQL, SQLAlchemy).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and RAG.
- Familiarity with NLP libraries such as spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, and Sentence-Transformers.
- Experience with LLM Frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and the OpenAI SDK.
- Knowledge of Vector Databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI).
- Experience with LLMOps / MLOps in production environments (MLflow, Weights & Biases, BentoML, Airflow).
- Familiarity with IVR platforms and speech technologies (ASR, NLU, TTS).
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
