Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester (SDET) with a strong background in Java-based automation frameworks. This is a contract position requiring hybrid work, with 3 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust automation testing frameworks using Java.
- Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios and create comprehensive test plans.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
- Ensure adherence to automation best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts, identifying root causes of failures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases.
- Document test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Participate in code reviews for automation scripts.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of experience in Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
- Strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation testing frameworks.
- Expertise in using XPath axes and CSS selectors for element identification.
- Proven experience with API testing (Postman / Rest Assured).
- Strong understanding of automation best practices and principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

- Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)
