Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior AWS React Lead with 14+ years of experience to lead frontend development initiatives. This role involves architecting scalable frontend applications, collaborating with backend teams, and leveraging AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of React, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines, and will mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead frontend development initiatives using React within the REACTNODEAWS ecosystem.
  • Design and implement scalable frontend architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver seamless and user-friendly applications.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and RDS for deployment and management of applications.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Follow Agile methodologies and actively participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure code quality through comprehensive code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce clean coding practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in testing, deployment, and cloud-native development.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS).
  • Proficiency in architecting scalable frontend applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Experience with performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $95 per year (Estimated)

Location: Irvine, CA
