Role Overview: Senior Azure/Entra ID L3 Engineer
As a Senior Azure/Entra ID Engineer, you will serve as a Level 3 technical expert responsible for the hands-on build, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting of identity and access management (IAM) solutions. This role is pivotal in securing our enterprise environment by implementing robust security controls and ensuring seamless identity protection across the cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with IAM Architects to translate high-level designs into production-ready, secure configurations.
Core Responsibilities
- Identity Security: Design and implement Conditional Access policies, Identity Protection mechanisms, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to safeguard organizational assets.
- Privileged Access: Configure and manage Privileged Identity Management (PIM) to ensure least-privilege access across the Azure environment.
- Device Compliance: Integrate device compliance standards with identity security components to maintain a Zero Trust architecture.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the final escalation point for complex identity-related issues, performing deep-dive analysis and resolution.
- Architecture Support: Collaborate with IAM Architects to validate designs and ensure they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with security best practices.
- Automation and ML: Leverage Azure Machine Learning (ML) and digital automation tools to enhance identity threat detection and response.
Technical Skills and Experience
- 8-10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and cloud security.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and its security features.
- Proven experience with Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Azure Identity Protection.
- Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning (ML) in the context of security analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital identity standards and protocols.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
