Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a specialized focus on BlackRock Aladdin implementations. This is a critical role requiring over 15 years of professional experience in the financial services sector, specifically within Investment Management and Order Management Systems (OMS). The successful candidate will lead complex data mapping, integration, and analysis efforts to ensure seamless outbound data retrieval from Aladdin to downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Aladdin implementations, serving as the primary Senior Business Analyst for OMS integration projects.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis into Aladdin data structures, utilizing APIs and ADC (Aladdin Data Cloud) to facilitate data flow.
  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) with high precision.
  • Perform advanced data mapping and integration work, ensuring data integrity across the investment lifecycle.
  • Utilize SQL and Python to perform complex data analysis and resolve technical roadblocks independently.
  • Manage senior stakeholders, questioning the rationale for downstream system requests to ensure alignment with the future-state architecture.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with common data challenges and pitfalls in Aladdin implementations.
  • Run technical calls with system owners to understand dependencies and infer requirements that may not be explicitly stated.
  • Maintain accountability for project timelines and velocity, working autonomously to resolve blockers before escalation.

Technical Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Business Analysis within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successful Aladdin implementations and deep knowledge of the platform’s data constructs.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Expertise in Investment Management domain knowledge, including asset classes, trading lifecycles, and market data.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
