Job Overview:

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their project team. This role is based in Austin, TX, and requires an onsite presence. The position is for an initial duration of 6 months, with potential for extension. The interview process will include an in-person component.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain, etc.).
  • Analyze raw data and gather business requirements.
  • Understand technology solutions and contribute to project management efforts.
  • Work within a SAFe environment on a major system modernization project and ongoing enhancement efforts for existing Medicaid applications.
  • Provide project and product oversight of Medicaid IT-Contracted Systems efforts, integrated projects, and support of dependent efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in business systems analysis and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to formulate systems that align with overall business strategies.
  • Extensive experience with business process reengineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new applications of technology to business problems.
  • Strong analytical skills for raw data analysis.
  • Experience in requirements gathering.
  • Understanding of technology principles.
  • Project management experience is a significant plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience working in an Agile environment, preferably SAFe.
  • 3 years of experience and knowledge of Texas HHSC processes, Texas Medicaid, and CHIP systems.

Additional Details:

  • This role requires a high degree of creativity and latitude, with the ability to perform complicated tasks independently.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of business acumen and technical understanding.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
