Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Demand & Capacity Planning Solutions to join our client’s team in San Diego, CA. This is an onsite contract position requiring 10+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis methodologies and a proven ability to manage complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis efforts for Demand & Capacity Planning solutions.
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop and maintain analysis artifacts, including functional specifications and use cases.
- Collaborate with global, distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex enterprise environments.
- Support system implementations and work with vendor-led projects.
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Provide expertise in manufacturing or supply chain planning processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and high-quality analysis artifacts.
- Demonstrated experience working with global, distributed teams.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience leading analysis efforts on large, cross-functional system implementations.
- Familiarity with enterprise planning concepts such as forecasting, constraints, slotting, and resource optimization is highly preferred.
Preferred Domain Knowledge
- Working knowledge or hands-on experience in Demand Planning.
- Working knowledge or hands-on experience in Capacity Planning.
- Experience with manufacturing or supply chain planning processes.
- Experience with ERP or enterprise planning platforms.
- Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or operations-focused organizations.
- Experience supporting software selection and vendor-led implementations.
