Position Summary
Smart IT Frame LLC is looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with a specialized focus on AWS, Informatica, and Dataiku. This hybrid role is based in Chicago, IL, and is designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between complex data engineering and strategic business objectives. With 12 to 15 years of experience, the ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in data integration and analytics, driving data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and corporate decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring that data assets are leveraged effectively to provide actionable insights across the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze intricate business processes to identify key areas for improvement, optimization, and digital transformation within the data landscape.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to document and validate comprehensive business and technical requirements.
- Design and oversee the implementation of data-driven solutions leveraging the AWS cloud ecosystem, Informatica ETL tools, and Dataiku for advanced analytics.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process maps, and technical implementation guides.
- Provide strategic guidance on data integration, data governance, and enterprise data management strategies to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Utilize Dataiku to perform advanced data analysis and build data science workflows that support predictive modeling and business intelligence.
- Manage the end-to-end solution implementation lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Monitor the effectiveness of deployed solutions and proactively recommend enhancements based on performance metrics and user feedback.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to upskill both business users and technical teams on new tools and processes.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with enterprise architecture.
Required Skills and Experience
- 12-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within data-centric and cloud environments.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue) and cloud data warehousing concepts.
- Deep technical knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for ETL and data integration.
- Proficiency in Dataiku for advanced analytics, data preparation, and data science workflow orchestration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering scalable business solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and technical teams alike.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
