Role Overview: Senior Business Analyst & Tire Industry SME
We are seeking a highly experienced Onsite Senior Business Analyst to act as the Tire Industry Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business analysis across a multi-stream transformation program. This role is critical for a complex, enterprise-wide digital transformation program that involves mobile application development, cloud migration, and a comprehensive user journey refresh. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in the tire lifecycle and retail/e-commerce operations to ensure that business intent and user experience goals are met across all delivery streams.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Act as the primary Tire Industry SME, providing deep insights into tire lifecycle management, product hierarchy, pricing strategies, promotions, warranties, and fitment data.
- Translate complex tire-specific business processes—including catalog management, inventory tracking, retail, wholesale, and e-commerce—into actionable functional requirements.
- Own the end-to-end business analysis process for a multi-stream program, ensuring a unified view of business goals and priorities.
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Manage the integrated program backlog, partnering with the Program Manager and Architects to ensure alignment across technical and business streams.
- Drive user-centric outcomes by leading current-state and future-state user journey mapping across multiple digital channels.
- Oversee the cloud migration strategy from Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) from a business requirement perspective, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Validate delivered solutions against business intent and success metrics through rigorous testing and stakeholder reviews.
- Maintain high-quality documentation, including business cases, process models, and requirement traceability matrices.
Technical and Domain Environment
The project environment is a fast-paced, enterprise-level digital transformation. You will be working with modern cloud architectures (Azure and GCP), mobile application frameworks, and complex retail/e-commerce platforms. The role requires a balance of technical literacy and deep business acumen to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and program-level demos is essential for success in this 12-month contract role.
Professional Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis with a focus on large-scale digital transformations.
- Mandatory expertise in the Tire Industry or high-volume E-commerce/Retail domains.
- Proven track record of managing complex backlogs and multi-stream programs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and architects.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, requiring 3 days onsite per week in Issaquah, WA.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
