Role Overview: Senior Data Analyst & Solution Architect
Khaya Infotech is currently expanding its consulting division and is seeking high-level expertise in Data Analysis and Solution Architecture for our 2026 project pipeline. This role is designed for a versatile professional who can navigate the complexities of modern data ecosystems while providing strategic architectural guidance. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and implement end-to-end data strategies that align with long-term business objectives and technological trends.
- Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints for complex software systems, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Lead data modeling initiatives, creating logical and physical designs that optimize performance and storage efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Security, and Product Management, to ensure seamless integration of data solutions.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that drive strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, such as advanced machine learning frameworks and distributed ledger systems, to enhance existing architectures.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership during the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ensure all solutions adhere to strict data governance, privacy, and security standards, particularly in regulated industries.
- Facilitate technical workshops and presentations for stakeholders to communicate complex architectural concepts in an accessible manner.
Technical Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture with a focus on cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in Data Analysis tools and languages, including Python, R, and advanced SQL.
- Strong background in backend development using Java or .NET frameworks.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Snowflake.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular) for data visualization purposes.
- Knowledge of QA Automation practices to ensure the reliability of data pipelines and architectural components.
Professional Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a lead or architectural capacity.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional) are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
