Job Description: Senior Data Scientist / AI/ML Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist / AI/ML Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, with a proven track record of developing and deploying innovative solutions. This role involves working with large datasets, building predictive models, and leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate ML models into production systems.
- Evaluate and benchmark model performance, and iterate on models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science research and technologies.
- Develop and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data science and ML development.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML to improve business processes and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for models, algorithms, and data processes.
- Work with cloud platforms and big data technologies for scalable ML solutions.
- Ensure ethical considerations and bias mitigation in AI/ML models.
- Perform feature engineering and selection to optimize model performance.
- Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to validate model effectiveness.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to the overall data strategy and roadmap.
- Troubleshoot and debug ML models and data pipelines.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape in AI/ML.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Experience with various ML frameworks and libraries is essential.
