Job Summary
We are looking for a highly senior Data Scientist with an Architect-level background to join our client’s team in New Jersey. This role requires extensive experience in Data Science, AI/ML development, and a strong understanding of modern technology landscapes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of MLOps and LLMOps for scalable model deployment and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers.
- Ensure adherence to AI governance policies, ethical AI practices, and industry best practices.
- Apply strong software engineering fundamentals to build robust and maintainable AI systems.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the modern technology landscape, including cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration tools.
- Utilize strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in data science and AI.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of AI initiatives within the organization.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Data Science and AI/ML development.
- Demonstrated expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts and applications.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Python programming and SQL.
- Experience with MLOps and LLMOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, LangSmith, LangFuse).
- Snowflake knowledge is considered a significant plus.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
