Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 11 years of professional experience to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is critical for maintaining and scaling our cloud infrastructure while ensuring seamless continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native technologies. As we move into 2026, the landscape of DevOps continues to evolve, requiring professionals who are not only technically proficient but also strategically minded regarding system architecture and security integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes across multiple environments.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-optimization.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to ensure reproducible environments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues in real-time using advanced observability tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization through containerization.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into every stage of the development lifecycle, moving toward a true DevSecOps model.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster management and scaling.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go to reduce manual overhead and human error.
  • Lead architectural discussions and provide technical guidance on infrastructure improvements and future-proofing strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, deployment procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 11 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Administration in a high-growth environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale cloud environments with a focus on reliability and security.
  • Strong proficiency in container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes, including Helm charts and service meshes.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for complex build processes.
  • Deep knowledge of networking, security, and storage in a cloud context, including VPCs, IAM, and encryption.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during production incidents.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between development and operations teams effectively.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack to drive data-driven decisions.

Relocation and Visa

This position is open to candidates with GC-EAD status. While the role offers remote flexibility, candidates should be willing to relocate to California or work within the Pacific Time Zone as required by project needs. We value professionals who are adaptable and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment where continuous learning is part of the culture.

The Future of DevOps

In this role, you will be at the forefront of technological advancement. By 2026, the integration of AI-driven automation and self-healing infrastructure will be paramount. We are looking for a leader who can navigate these changes, implementing machine learning models for predictive scaling and automated incident response. Your 11 years of experience will provide the foundation necessary to mentor junior engineers and set the standard for operational excellence within our organization.
