About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Dynatrace Engineer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of monitoring, performance analysis, and infrastructure management within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting and optimizing complex systems using Dynatrace and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support for Dynatrace Managed and Dynatrace SaaS environments.
- Define and recommend baseline monitoring thresholds, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams, staff, and senior management to communicate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including virtualized infrastructure (VMware) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Utilize scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Bash for operational efficiency.
- Support basic networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
- Work with enterprise log analysis frameworks and ticketing tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Assist with migrations from Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS.
- Ensure the effective functioning and continuous improvement of our monitoring solutions.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with technical teams, staff, and senior management.
- 5+ years of experience with Windows and Linux server environments, including virtualized infrastructure such as VMware and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- 5+ years of experience using scripting or automation tools, such as PowerShell or Bash (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience with basic networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
- 5+ years of experience supporting or performing migrations from Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS.
- 5+ years of experience defining and recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, KPIs, and SLAs for enterprise systems.
- 5+ years of experience working with enterprise log analysis frameworks and ticketing tools, such as Jira or ServiceNow.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or related AWS architecture experience (preferred).
Additional Information:
- Location: Atlanta, GA – Hybrid/Remote (The candidate’s first day is onsite and onsite on demand basis).
- Duration: 16 months.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
