About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to build and optimize a high-performance streaming application used across multiple devices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about performance optimization and experienced in maintaining fast, stable applications on resource-constrained devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end features using React 18 and TypeScript
- Implement scalable state management using Redux and Redux Toolkit (RTK)
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks (rendering, memory usage, app startup time)
- Debug and fix JavaScript memory leaks in long-running applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Redux and RTK
- Familiarity with React Router and client-side routing
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Experience in performance optimization (profiling, monitoring, debugging)
- Understanding of browser internals and performance behavior in large SPAs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React 18.2.0, TypeScript 5.9.2
- State Management: Redux, RTK
- Routing: React Router
- Testing: Vitest, Playwright
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in application performance tuning and monitoring
- Strong expertise in identifying and resolving JavaScript memory leaks
Mandatory Skills
- React 18
- Microservices (understanding/integration)
- Java
Special Requirements
Visa status and Linkedin required. Local profiles of NY only. Remote with occasional office visits.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
