Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience to join our Global Trading technology team in Spring, Texas. This is a high-visibility, 12-month contract position designed for a technical powerhouse who can navigate the complexities of both modern frontend frameworks and heavy-duty backend data processing. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our trading platform, responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications that drive our daily operations. This role requires a professional who can seamlessly integrate into a fast-paced environment and provide immediate value through technical leadership and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop sophisticated frontend user interfaces using the React framework, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and a seamless user experience.
  • Design and implement robust backend services using Python, with a heavy emphasis on the Pandas library for complex data manipulation and high-efficiency ETL workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate intricate trading requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage and optimize both relational and non-relational database systems, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, focusing on data integrity and query performance.
  • Deploy and manage applications within cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure, while maintaining a working knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Establish and maintain rigorous CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to ensure high-quality code deployment and automation.
  • Utilize advanced data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake to handle large-scale data ingestion and curation tasks.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold engineering excellence and maintainable code standards.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years of verifiable experience in full-stack software engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in React.js, including hooks, state management (Redux/Context), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Advanced Python development skills, specifically for data-intensive applications using Pandas, NumPy, and Flask/FastAPI.
  • Strong experience with Node.js for building scalable middleware and backend services.
  • Proven track record in data modeling, indexing strategies, and performance tuning for large-scale databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
  • Deep understanding of web security standards, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience working within a Global Trading or high-frequency finance environment is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 per year
