Job Overview:

This individual will serve as the primary Halo SME, expanding platform functionality, building scalable workflows, and driving system optimization across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • CMDB & Asset Management (Primary Focus)
  • 5+ years of experience administering Halo
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and building a CMDB from the ground up
  • Strong asset management lifecycle experience
  • Experience leading system integrations (API-based and native connectors)
  • Advanced SQL knowledge (Halo backend experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience building automation workflows and business logic
  • Strong understanding of ITIL concepts, especially configuration and asset management
  • Ability to operate independently as a system owner
  • Design, build, and mature the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within Halo
  • Automate asset discovery and reconciliation processes

Integrations & Automation:

  • Lead integrations between Halo and systems such as: Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Other RMM, security, and business platforms
  • Build and maintain API-based integrations
  • Develop automation workflows for onboarding, offboarding, asset provisioning, and service operations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes using system logic and automation

Workflow & System Development:

  • Design and implement scalable service workflows
  • Build advanced ticketing automations and routing logic
  • Create dashboards, reporting structures, and KPI tracking
  • Optimize backend configurations and system performance

Reporting & Data Management:

  • Develop advanced SQL-based queries and reporting
  • Create executive and operational dashboards
  • Ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency across systems

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)

Location: Remote, US
