Role Overview: Senior iOS Swift Developer (Hybrid – NYC)
Diaspark Inc. is looking for a talented and passionate Senior iOS Swift Developer to join our team for a long-term contract engagement in New York City. This is a hybrid role requiring three days of onsite collaboration at our NYC office and two days of remote work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building secure, high-performance mobile applications that provide a seamless user experience within the Apple ecosystem. You will work on cutting-edge projects, focusing on modern UI frameworks, secure authentication, and advanced notification systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using SwiftUI as the primary framework, while maintaining legacy support for UIKit.
- Implement complex view hierarchies and custom UI components that adhere strictly to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Design and manage secure authentication and registration flows utilizing OAuth 2.0 and OIDC protocols.
- Integrate third-party identity providers such as Auth0 or Firebase Auth, ensuring secure session management via Keychain Services and Biometrics (Face ID/Touch ID).
- Develop robust notification systems, including rich Push Notifications (APNs) and Local Notifications, utilizing Notification Service Extensions for media and background processing.
- Oversee the full mobile application lifecycle, including managing provisioning profiles, certificates, and distribution via TestFlight and App Store Connect.
- Collaborate with backend teams to implement Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns for optimized mobile performance.
- Ensure application security and data integrity by implementing best practices for sensitive data handling and deep linking (Universal Links).
Technical Requirements:
- Extensive experience in iOS development with a deep proficiency in Swift and modern concurrency models (Async/Await, Actors).
- Strong expertise in UI frameworks, including SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and programmatic UI development.
- Proven experience with state management libraries and patterns such as Combine or Observable.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions, specifically Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of dependency management using Swift Package Manager (SPM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of User Notifications UI for creating custom, interactive notification interfaces.
- Experience in the healthcare or retail sectors is a plus, given Diaspark’s industry focus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid team environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $176,000 – $270,000 per year (Estimated)
