Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be in our Northern NJ office at least three days a week. The ideal candidate will have strong core Java skills and extensive experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and microservices development. Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL is also required. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications.
- Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Utilize GraphQL for data querying.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Technical Skills Required:
- Core Java
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
- Microservices Architecture
- RESTful API Development
- GraphQL
- Experience with JOLT (JSON to JSON transformation) is a plus.
- Experience with XSLT is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid position: Requires presence in the Northern NJ office at least 3 days per week.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
