Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a specialized focus on LexisNexis Bridger and Firco integration. This is a critical contract position based in New York, NY, requiring day-one onsite presence and a commitment to working in the office three days a week. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Java development, coupled with extensive hands-on experience in integrating, customizing, and optimizing LexisNexis products, specifically Bridger and Firco solutions. This role demands a professional who is not only technically proficient but also capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust Java applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Lead the integration of Java-based solutions with LexisNexis Bridger and Firco platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Customize and configure Bridger and Firco platforms to align with specific business requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product owners, and other developers, to gather comprehensive requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and ongoing support.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, application performance, and data integrity.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all development, integration processes, and system configurations.
- Stay continuously updated on new features, updates, and best practices related to LexisNexis, Bridger, and Firco solutions to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Ensure all developed solutions adhere to security best practices and company standards.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10+ years of proven, hands-on experience in professional Java development, specifically with Java 8 or higher.
- Demonstrable expertise and practical experience with LexisNexis products and their associated APIs.
- In-depth working knowledge of Bridger and Firco solutions, including their configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
- Solid familiarity with database technologies, particularly MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other financial crime compliance solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Relevant certifications in Java or related technologies.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $166,400 – $249,600 per year (Estimated)
