Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Developer with a Public Trust Clearance to join our team. This is a remote position, primarily focused on the East Coast time zone. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, full-stack development, and supporting enterprise-level applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years in Java development.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-stack experience.
- Experience in JAVA application development, web application development, batch applications, and support is required.
- Experience with Oracle DB query development, including Hibernate within the Spring Framework.
- Experience with test automation, including unit tests, functional tests, regression tests, and performance tests.
- Experience with implementing Playwright and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- Experience with Version One and Agile development methodologies.
- A minimum of Eight (8) years of relevant experience is required.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required.
Required Technical Skills
- Expertise in Java, especially J2EE, and the Spring Framework.
- Expertise in Java, including J2EE, Spring framework, and Struts for maintaining and expanding current applications.
- Expertise in web page development, including Struts, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSP, HTML, JQUERY, CSS, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes, micro-services, and event-driven applications with Kafka.
- Expertise in building RESTful API Applications with a focus on high throughput, strong resilience, and secure controls.
- Experience in writing functional tests with an automation testing framework, such as Playwright.
- Knowledge of best practices in Version Control systems.
- Knowledge of mainframe systems integration.
Required Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly for collaborating on mainframe integration with Java developers and migration planning.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
