Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MEAN Stack Developer with over 12 years of professional software engineering experience to join our team onsite in the Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area. This is a technical leadership role requiring a deep understanding of enterprise-grade web application architecture and the ability to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions using the MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) stack. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing microservices, optimizing database performance, and leading development teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust full-stack applications using Node.js and Angular 10+.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Express.js.
- Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces with Angular and TypeScript.
- Lead technical design discussions and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability for cloud-native environments.
- Manage MongoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and DevOps, to ensure seamless delivery.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in overall software development with at least 5 years focused on the MEAN stack.
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend frameworks.
- Extensive experience with MongoDB, including complex aggregation and data modeling.
- Strong background in microservices architecture and API design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Jasmine is highly preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
