About the Role:
Ark Infotech Spectrum is seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a critical State project in South Carolina. This role focuses on supporting enterprise-scale Child Welfare applications, requiring a deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, modern Angular frameworks, SQL Server, and robust enterprise N-tier architecture. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level professional capable of independently driving the design, development, and ongoing support of complex, secure, and scalable web-based systems. This is a remote position, but candidates must be local to South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise-scale web applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Actively participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, coding, rigorous testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Develop and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable N-tier architectures that meet stringent project requirements.
- Optimize MS SQL Server databases for performance and efficiency, and develop sophisticated reporting solutions as needed.
- Support and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and engage with State stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C#, VB.NET, and related .NET technologies.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using Angular (Version 15+), leveraging Angular CLI and RxJS for dynamic and responsive front-end experiences.
- Implement and manage WCF services for inter-application communication.
- Ensure applications are deployed and run efficiently on IIS and Windows Server environments.
Required Technical Skills:
- A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in Microsoft .NET development, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and MVC (version 4 and above).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2016/2019, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- 5+ years of experience building robust N-tier, data-driven web applications.
- 5+ years of experience working with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
- 3+ years of experience with Angular (Version 15+), including proficiency with Angular CLI and RxJS.
- 3+ years of experience with Entity Framework (version 6 and above).
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and jQuery.
- Experience with IIS and Windows Server 2016/2019 environments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
