Job Description
Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience within the same industry to design, develop, test, and maintain backend software solutions. The role is heavily focused on .NET service development, REST APIs, and SQL, with some exposure to Angular and ASP.NET. Engineers work across design, development, and testing in a fastpaced, highly regulated environment and are expected to be selfsufficient, proactive, and strong communicators.
Must Haves
- 8+ years in a comparable software engineering role
- Strong .NET backend and service development experience
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining RESTful services
- Solid SQL experience
- Experience interpreting business/technical requirements and developing to spec
- Debugging, defect investigation, and software maintenance experience
- Unit testing, test plans, test harnesses, and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-heavy environment
Plusses
- SOAP experience (migration off SOAP underway)
- Any cloud experience (current: ECF; future: GCP/AWS)
- AI experience (highly desired)
- Angular and ASP.NET experience
- Jira / Atlassian tools
- Financial or retirement industry background
Special Requirements
Must be local to Austin, TX, or Richfield, OH / Southlake, TX; Onsite 5 days a weeks; NO Relocation!!; VISA: NO H1B/CPT
Compensation & Location
Salary: $65 – $85 per year (Estimated)
